“THE FISH CHAIR”

The fish is a life source to Venda.

This sculpture focuses more on the movement of the fish — a symbol of the moving structures within South Africa.

The movement / forward propulsion of a fish is caused by the tail fin, a shape emphasized within the design of the South Africa flag, the victory sign and the peace sign.

These three concepts combined will produce forward movement of the new found structures within South Africa and create a flow towards a common shared destiny.
